Planning permission granted for erection of dwelling in the Green Belt
Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy Ltd. has recently secured planning permission to re-develop a range of stables on a site within the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, successfully arguing that proposal amounted to an appropriate form of development within the Green Belt, and that the site also constituted a sustainable location for a new dwelling, despite being located a number of kilometres from the nearest day-to-day services. We engaged in constructive pre-application discussions with the Local Authority prior to submission of the application, and responded in detail via a comprehensive Planning Statement to the concerns raised by the Council in those initial discussions.
