Design & Access Statements

Design And Access Statements are required for all major developments, and for applications for new dwellings in a Conservation Area or World Heritage Area, or large extensions within a Conservation Area or World Heritage Area of more than 100 square metres.

Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy can provide advice and assistance in the early stages of formulating a scheme, and prepare a quality Design and Access Statement to accompany your application.

Our Design and Access Statements are based upon the principles outlined in Best Practice documents. If a Design and Access Statement is required, but you have not submitted one, then the Local Authority will not validate your planning application.

Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy can provide a quality Design and Access Statement with a quick turnaround time, thus minimising delays to your project, although it is preferable for us to be involved at an early stage so that we can inform and understand the evolution of the project.
