Planning permission granted for change of use of public house to mini-supermarket
Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy Ltd. has recently secured planning permission for the change of use, extension and alteration of a former public house in Telford to a mini-supermarket. The proposal involved a number of planning considerations including loss of the existing community facility, impacts arising from the site not being located within an existing retail centre, impact on a locally listed building, and parking provision. Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy Ltd. along with the applicant’s appointed Retail Consultant, were able to conclusively demonstrate that the proposal was acceptable on all counts, which led to planning permission being granted.
