Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy was approached by a developer in Staffordshire having recently withdrawn an application owing to various concerns being expressed by the Local Authority, particularly in respect of noise. The proposal was for the conversion of first and second floor offices into three apartments.
At ground floor was an established restaurant and it was noise emanating from that business which gave the Council cause for concern.
In conjunction with a local Noise Consultant, Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy prepared a Planning Statement to accompany the re-submitted application, and consent was granted shortly thereafter.
